can I do thiis 2 Years, 2 Months ago  
I was wondering if i can use the Yamaha front fender tip and the fender rail together

will they fit ?

Probably. They both bolt in different places, so that part's not a problem. The only thing that could be a challenge is the clearance towards the front, but I'll bet it can be done.

Edit: Looks like part of the rail does secure to the fender tip also.

I don't really think that will work the rail bolts up to were the front tip is

You have to dremel the center of the tip to clear the rail mount, I've done this several times and it looks very good if you get the fit right.

Well I guess you can if you drill a hole into the fender tip

You will need to remove a portion of the fender tip where the fender rail connects to the fender. Works fine for me, gives the bike a different look, that not many people have. Just a matter of your preferences.

the tip I put on last summer....and the rail should be here this week....trimming off a little of the fender is no big deal ...nor hard to do
