Re:I'm Selling 3 Years, 1 Month ago
Thanks for all the good wishes everyone, but I'm starting to feel bad....LOL. I haven't lost my job. As a matter of fact, I consider myself VERY blessed in my job. I have one of those dream jobs...I get to do marketing for high performance automotive aftermarket and off-road truck accessories. I LOVE MY JOB, get to play with big boy toys and work with some of the coolest guys in the coolest industry all day long. Like I said, I'm VERY blessed.

The "life circumstances" in my case are actually good news (even if it does cost me my ride). I have a baby son and our house and finances are getting cramped because of him. I'm definitely not complaining, he's a hoot!

On the points about the economy and people having REAL financial woes, my heart's with everyone on here that has extended their prayers and concerns. I've been there before too (when my daughter was born 7 years ago, as a matter of fact). Keep your heads up and your eyes open, our country isn't done by a dang sight! We are gonna split some heads in the upcoming elections and send some REAL messages to the men who THINK they're in charge.

Keep your heads up!

David, good luck with selling your bike. It is a beautiful bike. I would love to find one like this if I was in the market for a bike.

Hey, sorry to hear your'e having to sell but congrats on all of the good stuff. I had to sell my scoot to raise kids too. I caught my wife in a weak moment and got back to riding about 3 years ago. I now have 2 kids in college. Talk about rough. What I am saying is, you can find a way.

Brashears,
You got your priorities straight!
Family first then your toys. I was 60 when I bought my new Road* in 2008 and I'm really enjoying it.
The wait was worth it!

As the father of 4 boys I have no regrets. Nothing like it. The bad times with them are better than most of the good times I had without them. Lucky for me I always had my old 73 Guzzi to ride. Good luck, you'll be riding again.

Thanks guys. Yea, I'm a family man. I have loved my kids, they keep me young and silly. I also had to trade my little sport coupe last year for a MINIVAN...AAARRRGH! My bike helped balance me out...I'm gonna miss that!

Enjoy these times. They will go by faster than you can imagine. Like K.C.'s song " Don't blink"! Best of luck to you and yours. Bushman

Sorry to here about the ride. Don't worry about it, will all come back to you in time. Had mine for 2 years now and lovin it. Family always comes first, before ya know it you will be saying how much you miss changing the dippers. LOL No really before you know it you will turn around and they will be at eye level, so enjoy the kids time all you can. The bike will return sooner or later.

Best of luck.
