Seat ???? 2 Years, 2 Months ago
Ok I need some input! Just sold my stock seats that I had butt buffers put new pads and reshaped on ebay but here is the kicker! The guy who out bid another bidder that had been in contact with me from the start sends me a message that if they do not fit a warrior he will not buy them ! What the ****! You bid on some thing and do not verify what you need?????? So the question is after looking on the yamaha site it shows the same part number for mustang 3 peice tour seat for the road star and the warrior. However the local dealer says they will not or at least he thinks they will not fit a warrior.

Any input on this????

Email the other guy and tell him that the other bidder walked and do a deal with him at his bid price.

Or re-list it after telling ebay so they don't charge you again.

I believe you can still return to that auction and click on a link that says "Report a non-payment". That'll open up a "dispute" where you can specify the problem. Then just follow whatever Ebay says about it.

I can report non paymet but have to wait 4 days! The other bidder was given a second chance offer but refused since the only one bidding against him was this guy! Have sent cancel transaction request to the brain dead that run up the bid (loved the price I was getting for them) but he has yet to respond or accept the cancel transaction. The other guy wants to rebid but is now wrangling away from his higher bid but you can not blame him since he now knows I am with out payment from the other guy ! New as soon as I seen the other guy with only 2 purchases get involved it was going to go down hill especially since the guy he beat had made several inquiries and was bidding.

Yeah I go through it all the time. I just had that happen on the 2005 R* I had listed here in the classifieds. All you can do is an unpaid dispute and wait it out. You can relist in the meantime. I never have had a 2nd chance offer accepted. Buyers are getting wise to the unpaid dispute where you get your fee's back. The guy on the R* acted like it wasn't a big deal. "Just relist it and send me a unpaid dispute and you will get your fee's back" he says. They don't understand about the wasted time and the fact that when people see an item relisted after it was just sold a lot of them might think something is wrong with it and the previous winner passed on it. It's frustrating, but no need to get stressed over something you can't control. Good luck with it!

Finally got the cancel transaction done by the buyer who bid on them. Relisted but will have to see if the original bidder is going to buy them for a price lower than he would have if he won thru bidding. Oh well they can sit around here awhile since they have for the last year. Cheap to list and relist on ebay but not going to give them away.
