What a day...... 3 Years, 1 Month ago
It started good and ended terrible. Had ball practice today with both teams and it went nice..cleaned my bike up for a local show tonight, went to the show and had a great time, seen old friends, got a trophey, my little loves to run up there and get them...lol, rode home, parked the bike infront of the garage and walked around to open the door and heard it hit the ground, I didn't even want to look, busted the fairing, damaged the end of the front fender, running board, mirror, and busted the saddlebag..I'm just sick, I worked all winter and took 3 weeks to paint and now I have to do alot of it over again and I don't think my insurance is gonna help much cause I didn't list the add on's...really, really bumbed

Sorry to hear this...esp after such a great day. I guess the only good part is that you did not go down with it on the road somewhere. You can get it back right.

What was it...kickstand not extended all the way?

I guess, it was pretty cold when I came home and I guess I just wasn't thinking...that gravel was hell on it.

Sorry to hear that WUWU
But like was said you are OK. I dropped mine in the driveway at 2 weeks old I pulled in right next to my 56 chevy with 3 day old paint. I threw the stand down and started to get off to like you open the garage door, only to find the stand was on a small rock. She suddenly leaned rolled back and caught my darn bad knee and down we both went with a beautiful verticle scar down my passenger door to drive home this lesson. That day sucked too I had two too fix.
10 years ago, I had forgotten till I read your post.

Know that feeling worked for weeks on my new lights and all and was almost ready to start showing my 05. Had an ALR ride the next weekend and crashed it. After I stopped rolling on the ground I got up walked over to the totaled bike and said "ALL THAT WORK DOWN THE TUBE DAMN!" Now I have a new bike upgraded it and now I have to get the old bike back in shape. Sure does wreck your days for a while.
