My stock wire spoke wheels are looking pretty sad and I was thinking of painting the spokes and rims. Any thoughts on how to do this or any problems I might need to be aware of?

all the same color, or spokes & rim different ? Paint or powder-coat? Either way, the chrome on the rim will need to be scuffed so you'll propably have to disassemble the wheel

jrd.ttmr has great pictures of how he did his wheels. He ended up dis-assembling them completely so he could do the hubs, spokes, and rims, and got a great result, from what I can see.

Check it out: http://roadstarclinic.com/component/option,com_fireboard/Itemid,187/func,view/id,266491/catid,57/

I ran into his thread while I was researching the bedliner paint option

Here's a FleaBay option ...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320533140397&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
(you may have to copy & paste to open link)

Personally, I like the red.

HERE'S your eBay link -- yeah I think the red wheels would go well especially with a black paint job IMO.
