thanks Coug, his is 35.00 and I'm assuming there would be an added shipping charge. I did see someone mentioned his in another thread but i didn't know how to find the link to his site.

lee seems to think one of the listed adaptors would be useable on a R*
but yah your gonna drop a few $ to add one of these.

for the $ the oil filter wrap cooler and some thermal compound will make a difference but you still have to be moving for it to be effective.

my bud's victory has a nice little oil radiator and i seen a nice one on a stratoliner but the filter to block mount is different, if it fit the 1600 that would be one great mod!

I don't think it will fit. If my memory is correct the Toyota filters back in those years were about twice the diameter of the current ones. The size of Chevy V8 filters. The only other issue would be the length. If it's too long how would you get the filter on and tight?

How about this:
http://tinyurl.com/26377op
(diverter for the R*)

And this:
http://tinyurl.com/26q378m
(Dual cool 2 for a HD)
Of course one would have to find the hoses for connecting the two, but I think this would work ok.

Hi, What advantage does the oil filter cooler give us or maybe the question should be do we need it?
