Cobra freeway bar 1 Year, 4 Months ago
Just bought a cobra freeway bar from another member here but was not sent the replacement 10m bolts that replace the factory bolts for floorboards, does anyone know if the factory ones are long enough to work?

no the original will be to short. also there is a spacer that you will need for the back bolts you could use washers as that is about all the spacer is. you would just need a few on each bolt. i would say the factory bolts are 1 inch long

p.s. safe to say you dont want my bars anymore huh

be careful taking those stock bolts out too, they turn into mush really quickly, try to heat up to loosen up the threadlock on em

Hey all, just put a set on my R* last weekend, on my 04 the stock head on the bolts are a 6mm, the ones
I got from Cobra had an 8mm head on them and were a little over a 1/4 of an inch longer. I used a 12 inch
piece of pipe on my rachet for extra torque and they came out no problem. Tie everything in place before
you take anything loose and it will go back in place easy. Another person trying to help hold stuff just gets
in your way. The spacers are the same thickness as the bar if you dont have them, Good luck
