Is There a DOC in the House 4 Years, 10 Months ago

after reading about all the AIS issues I though I was immune, since I ride a 2001 ........... Sadly I discovered I'm not!

So since I found out about AIS here I'm turning to you for advice.

I ordered the plugs from Ebay and saw a breakdown for removing the pump, my question is the cylinder plugs. They suggested a slide hammer.

Fill me in with any tricks to pull them out without the slide hammer. Or any advice I might need, I'm hoping for only a 2 to 3 beer job

Or am I under estimating myself? THANKS and have a great weekend
