For sale: my R/H 2/1 pipe 4 Years, 10 Months ago
Going to be swapping out my Roadhouse pipe for another brand. Love this pipe, but it's a clearance issue. The V/H propipe is on the way , and it is a "higher" pipe. The pipe is in very good condition , But has slight (very) road burn under the lower heat shield and slight (extremely) burn under the tail end of the muffler. This all occurred before I tightened up the rear suspension for my weight, and if your running floorboards, you will never touch these down, as the boards touch way before the pipe.
This pipe makes great power, and is a looker as well. It is quiet enough to sneak out of a neighborhood in the mornings (or sneak in at night), but plenty loud when the RPMs are up. None of the road burn is seen with the pipe on the bike. While installing (some time ago) I dropped a #&@ bolt on the muffler and it put a small mark on the pipe (felt like the end of the world then), it is barely noticeable, and I stopped sweating it forever ago.
The pipe is still very nice, though I've explained it into sounding like a piece of crap, I'm trying to be honest up front. I paid nearly 600 dollars for the pipe with the tip (slash cut) about 10 months ago. I would like to get 350, plus shipping , or if your a local, you could pick it up , or I could help you install it. If you're interested let me know. BB

Greeny, well that worked out well for the both of us. Now the other pipe hasn't arrived yet (end of this week....26th or 27th), so I was going to do a swap simultaneously. Is that going to work for you? I have the original box, it's a decent sized box, could cost a few bucks, but I guess you probably are aware of that. let me know.BB

I'm not in a hurry. I wouldn't expect to leave you hanging without pipes. Glad to hear you have the original box. That always makes shipping a lot easier. Do you still have the mounting instructions?

One question - Do you have the standard tip that originally comes with the exhaust? I wasn't sure if it's a separate tip or if it just gets covered up with an optional tip. I like both the standard and the slash-cut look and would like to change it up at times.

Let me know how you prefer payment.

You've ordered a fine pipe. I was thinking about a ProPipe as well recently. Nice sound and very nice torque.

My email address is greenquist@cox.net if you'd like to work out the payment details there. Shoot me an email as well and I'll send you my home address. I put that in a PM I sent you, but wasn't exactly sure how those PM's work.

Thanks BB....looking forward to the Roadhouse.

Greeny:

Besides getting a great deal, you are going to LOVE those Roadhouse Classics 2-1 pipes!

If big Bear doesn't have the mounting instructions, let me know. I have a set that I converted to .PDF for another Roadie on RSR.

Thanks and good luck with the new setup.

Greeny:

I had to e-mail the instructions in three (3) e-mails because of the files sizes. I also included, on the first e-mail, a narrative which includes some personal tips regarding the install, based upon my own recent experience. You should have all you need.

If you need anything further, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks.

06MS - Sent you an email in reply to your instructions, but wanted everyone to know exactly how helpful you have been. You've made it so easy, an idiot could do it.

Wait....did I just call myself an idiot?

Karma coming your way.

Regards....greeny
