I typed out that subject and thought I better clarify...

Anyway, I just got a set of aftermarket HD 32.5" drag bars. I have stock risers on the bike now with my Star Bars. I also have a set of 4" risers with 2.5 inches of pullback.

From your sigpics, I think it looks like you both have the drag bars with the attached risers. True? If so, what's the rise of your "risers"? I got the drag bars to accommodate my 37" arms (don't need the pullback of the Star Bars). I was just wondering which would be more suitable for my solution, the stock risers or the 4".

Thanks--

RK

Baby keeping you up.

I have the Baron 6" Hot Rod Drag bars - Rise: 6", Pullback: 7"

The best bet to see what you like is to sit on the bike holding the bars where you would like them and have your wife measure the rise and pullback that you would need.

Forget about trying to keep the OEM cables and getting a bar to fit. Fit the bar to what you need for a comfortable ride and then buy cables to fit the bar.

I have the The Double "T" Fat Bars. Specs. are 1-1/4" diameter tubing swaged down to 1" at the grip area (6-1/2" rise, 10-1/2" pullback, 34-1/4" width).

Six inches of rise, 5 1/2 on pull back..........or vise versa. BB

And I agree with Doc about fitment first, but these worked without me changing a thing, bonus I guess.

Post edited by: Big Bear, at: 2007/07/26 15:59

Doc, RJF, BB--

Thanks for the input! Just looking for a way to keep my left hand from going numb (with current setup, my arms are bent at almost 90 degree angle).

Thanks again--
