I too had an issue on a radio I bought on Ebay using Pay Pal. I asked many times for the activation code and finally just shipped it back to the seller and went through Pay Pal's dispute service. I protested the sale and got my 400 bucks back after 2 weeks.

By the way, get a batwing fairing instead of a windshield. You never ride long distance without one again.

Have you checked our classified section? There are a couple of windshield's there for sale.
And contact Pay-Pal they will help you.

I just installed the retro-fit QR windshield kit. I love riding around town without the screen, but longer highway speeds make me glad to have something in front of me.

Hate you got took. I think there's a special hell for thieves. I at least have respect for those who rob you face to face.

I've been looking for a touring bike and answered an ad for a 2008 BMW K1200LT for, get this, $2,850.00. I KNOW this is some scammer because selling price for this model is about $13,000.00. Of course the seller was overseas working for UNICEF and was going to donate the sale price to charity. The bike was in a storage unit in Mobile, AL. When I told them I was in Mobile and wanted to see it they suddenly were unable to work out the details, but assured me buying it through paypal would "protect" me. LOL

Needless to say I won't be buying a BMW from this person.

Quick update, I finally filed a dispute with PayPal. Not an hour later he responded to the dispute saying he had been on vacation in the mountains for 2 weeks and when he got home the person that was supposed t ship it told him it was going to cost triple what he had thought. That was yesterday, tonight I got the tracking info that is has been shipped and I should have it by Friday

I'm sure someone has already told you this but I've been there, done that. Similar situation on I think it was the AR15 site. Paid through paypal, and then nothing. Guys was gone. Within a week I disputed the payment through paypal, that forces these guys to either reply or risk paypal taking the money away and giving it back. After waiting 3 weeks or so, I had my money back.
