Side covers, removal 6 Years, 6 Months ago
I'm trying to remove my side pans, that are directly below and aft of the gas tank. I've removed the two (L/H & R/H)side 'allen' bolts.
What's required, next?
thanx for any help.

For the left sidecover, once you have removed the allen bolt just pull straight out . It's held in place by friction fit plastic pins (you'll see what I mean once it's off), one about half-way on the face and two attaching the cover to the centre piece.

For the right sidecover, once you have the left side removed, you'll see a phillips screw which holds the right side to the centre piece. Just unscrew it and then pull the right cover off.

Thanx Doc. Is there a site that I can go to that shows me the service manual, without buying a Clymer Manual?
