Personally I would stay away from Hog Tunes. They are very expensive, under powered amps, and the speakers...well just look at the magnet size and you can see that they aren't that good.

I read in a magazine write up (can't remember which one) that these were a waste - couldn't hear 'em.

Roadie 68, you can make your own tunes more affordably by buying your speakers that clamp on the handle bar with an amp or self amplified type...

You could always check out www.Gooddeals18.com and check some of those Shark set ups. I have one that I just bought and haven't set it up yet but heard good things about.

Re:Sound systems ? 1 Year ago
i have kuryakyn "sound of chrome" system with v&h big shots and can hear my music great in town, and "ok" at 70mph. i admit there are cheaper ways to get music on the roadie (the shark system is only a hundred bucks and sounds as good if not better than mine), but the sound of chrome is a very clean install and sharp looking to boot, and the price has gone down on them. just my opinion.

+1 on The Sound of Chrome speaker system. I have a shorty shield and can easily rock out at highway speeds.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but I got one of those sharks a little while back and it worked great for a couple weeks then just went straight to crap, speakers just simply fell apart and the best use of the amp was when I finally screwed it to a fence poll and used it as a target to use up some 22 ammo on the dang thing. In my opinion SAVE yourself some coin and ALOT of frustration. Others have had better luck but I certainly DID NOT!!!!

The best thing to do is put on a fairing and install a real stereo, I have 4 Polk Audio speakers and a Kenwood head unit, you can hear it!
