Looks like some of us are in the same boat.

I usually am able to ride most of October but it's been raining most days. But at least I'm not flooded out like the New England states.

Hey, I feel for all of you guys, I just put five hundred miles on my Silverado this weekend attending Veterans Memorial services here in NM this weekend. The weather is one of the reasons I retired here, I can usually ride eleven and a half months of the year eaisly. Maybe, short runs, but at least I can RIDE....Oh yeah, I bought my '05 in May, and now have 9500 miles on it, Ride as often and you can and above all, Ride Safe, Wishbone

We are looking into the Las Cruces area Fell in love with NM while traveling through to see our daughter in California...spent a few days in Santa Fe but ruled it out because we don't want snow

Liked Silver City but want a bit more to do...plus we will need to work and the wife is a college professor :)

So the Las Cruces area and new Mexico State is looking real good right about now :) Plus, it's close to El Paso and I can find legal work in Texas :)

Regards, Ted

I'd live there but what's wrong with snow?

Keeps the beer cold

BTW ... I edited your pics to make them a bit 'easier' to view.

TMK, Las Cruces is really a growing place, and as you said, close to El Paso. Lots to do all over this area. Good Shop in Cruces too. I'm about 70 miles east of Cruces at the White Sands area. If you get to this area give a shout. Doe, nothing against snow, it is good for the beer, but not for bikes!! Wishbone
