In my 32 years of using Quaker State, Penzoil, Mobil 1 and never touching an Amsoil product, I have never ever had to rebuild any engine of mine. I guess I'm just lucky

Re:Best Oil 2 Years ago
I don't think the yamalube is semi-synthetic, I think it is pure dino. I think you guys suffer a bit too much from brand loyalty (beer companies must love you guys). I find it hard to believe that Yamalube is crap, I have used it on my sport bike motors and kicked the shit out them and the motor never suffered in any way.

I think as long as it is motorcycle specific oil and the correct viscosity I will be fine (and adhere to the correct change intervals). Cheers

Just out of curiosity, and no disrespect intended, if you already had your mind set on the oil you purchased, why did you post the question?

If you use Yamalube use the newer 15w50 full synthetic. What Doc said about the foaming on the old stuff is true but I've found that the new 15w50 dosen't and I can't believe I'm saying this..... but the bike runs quieter....there I got it out

=====================

AAAAHHHH/Come on guys,i went easy on ya this time keeping it short and sweet not getting into zddp lvls required for FT cams that many people were not aware was an issue at all or that the FT cam/lifters in R* required ZDDP/LOL!!!!!

Well if they werent aware they are now and those are the people i was targetting to ensure our fellow RSC members knew the scoop.

Aren't we supposed to help eachother out here in RSC letting everytone know about things like major changes in oil formula that could in some cases cause substantial engine damage/costly reapir on our R*'s?

I did that so they could make a better oil choice if they cared to do so which was more often not the case from neg fedeback i was getting ,old habits die hard as in Sheel rotella dino 15-40 which is one example that used to be ok but since 1/2007 isnt anymore in that newer CJ rating with lower ZDDP.

HA,if ya didnt take a jab at me i would NOT have bugged you again with this info,its all your fault!!!!!!/LOL!!!!.

Scott
