Pants + pegs + 30mph or more = hiked up pants 1 Year, 9 Months ago
I got some of those things to clip under my boot to keep my pants legs down when I'm riding. Is there a better solution? My problem with those is that they never seem to stay clipped when I'm off the bike, and when I walk with them on, on end invariably ends up under my book, crushing the clip and ruining it.

There's gotta be a better way?

I adjusted mine so they are somewhat lose when I am standing.
Haven't had a problem with them yet like that.

Are you wearing shoes or boots? Never have the problem with boots and jeans, unless the jeans are short. I'm a 32 inseam for dress pants but buy 34 length jeans for riding. I got a set of those clips too. Instead of using them like a stirrup I just put one clip on my pants and the other on my boots

I wear 32x34, and buy 32x36. I always ride with boots. I'll try your suggestion, though.

I just buy my jeans a bit longer (2" than my inseam, and generally don't have a problem. That's what my 'cowgirl' friends tell me the cowboys do. There is a site called bikerstrap.com that sells heavy-duty clip-type straps that look like those flat rubber bungee cords. I've also used the small bungee cords that are a loop with a plastic ball (kind've like a big hair tie) around my pants leg.

I too wear 34's in length and normally when I ride, I wear boots and 36 length pants and never had a problem with them coming up at any speed, but I also have the straps for my 34's which I from Ebay, size long and they never have come unclipped, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370444128724&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT#ht_1655wt_889

Moondog, (Clete, and his brother, Chad), here on the clinic had some that really worked well. You might check with him.

I know I look like a dang fool when I ride to the office sometimes. Flowy khaki pants blowing up to my kneecaps; socks showing.

Boots and jeans. If I'm wearing my work boots or hiking shoes, I don't have a problem.
