Same here, longer than normal jeans. Sometimes that doesn't work out so well when walking around, even with my boots on so I end up with the tattered cuff now and then but it sure is better when riding with the longer cut jeans.

I wear Draggin jeans the ones with kevlar in the knees and butt, they are about an inch longer than normal with no hiking problems as they are much heavier than normal jeans. Got a great deal on them off the ebay .

I wear boots and my regular jeans with no problems. However, my wife bought me a "Fishing" shirt at Wally World because it was so light and had built in vents. It's great for riding in hot weather. I was wearing it for the first time last weekend and had the shirttail out. It felt really good until I hit 60mph. All of a sudden The air hitting my skin felt different, I looked down and my shirt was up around my armpits leaving my big white belly hanging in the wind. I got to laughing so hard I almost fell off!! I fixed the problem by tucking in the front and leaving the back out. Anyway Wally World has those fishing shirts on sale for $12.00 and they are alot cooler than even a t-shirt. Just keep the front tucked in a little if your going over 60mph!!

I went to the fabric store and bought a $2 pair of suspender clips. I always wear the same boots when I ride so I unlaced my boots down to the front, put these clips on there, and relaced my boot. Now when I tie my boots I just clip the front of my jeans in there. Takes half a second and works great.

Longer cut jeans work well. Worked well working horses also.

i found this style of riding gear helps with wind noise from baggy clothes and pant legs coming up - Makes doing the ironbutt rides easy.

To answer a lot of these posts, I do wear extra long jeans, and they are Draggin Jeans (usually) when I ride. What jeans they are has no effect on riding up at all.

I like the idea of putting the clamp under my laces, but I don't have any. They zip up the sides. Maybe it's because the pants I get are boot cut? In any case, I'm gonna see about maybe sewing something into my pants. Like a stretch fabric or something, and put some quick clips on the end. My lady is good with the sewing machine, so I'm sure she can help me out. That'll fix my problem. I just have to buy enough fabric and clips for all my pants that I ride with. Since it'll be inside, I shouldn't have a problem with it changing the way my pants look.

Right now, I don't really consider this a problem. When the temps start dropping, I believe I will.

And slothy, I call shenanigans. I saw you riding on the way to Newfoundland and that's not what you had on at all (you had on a two piece).
