#408111 TampaSVT (User) Life is hard. It's harder if yer' stupid(J.Wayne) Platinum Boarder Posts: 5054 Axle Spacers - Where to find them? 1 Year, 9 Months ago   I'm back to working on the XS650 Bobber again. And, the hard tail is a bit more narrow that the stock swing arm. So, I'm hunting axle spacers 1/4" thick. I'd prefer not to use washers, which seem to mainly come 1/8" thick. Inside diameter is 20mm. I've already tried places like Fastenal, etc. Any thoughts? Don't expect to find anything there. It cost me $10.00 for the machine shop and $5.00 for the aluminum bar stock. Just a thought. I wish I could find a metal lathe for a reasonable price, so I could make stuff like this when I need it or others need it. Tim: I'd want to keep the OD around the same size as the stock axle spacer which is 35mm ( 1-3/8" ). ID could probably be up to 21mm. Seems to be a standard size for metric spacers, from what I've found. Thanks, man.
