That sucker weighs 88lbs!!!! $359.00 + 61.00 Shipping. I've used both, the red and the yellow Sears jacks... I like the yellow jack much better. The only issue is, you really have to watch it when you lower the jack. It WILL come down fast if you are not careful. I also don't strap the bike down while on the jack, and haven't had an issue yet.

Great jack it's the only one that will go under a lowered Roadstar.

Heres a action shot.

Dude. . .that's an awesome bike!! and you don't have it strapped down. . .oOr do you have it BOLTED to the jack??

I've never had the bike strapped or bolted to the jack,if the bike is going to fall it will take that little jack with it. I do lower it when I wheel it around the shop.

+1 for the HF jack.
I have one I bought about 5 years ago (it rocks) and bought one for my Dad for his ATV about 3 years ago.
He hates the fact that it came from China but loves using it anyway. LOL

If thats the Aluminum one (45lbs) I used it. was great since it was so light. Was kept on rear patio, and I would have to carry it thru the house to the front. I can't do that with an 85lber. Unfortunately, keeping it outside in Fl humidity is not the best for the hydraulics, it rusted up on me.

I own the yellow Sears Jack and it does a great job for my roadie as well as my dirtbikes. If you have not lowered your roadie it will roll under the bike while it is on the side stand and you can start jacking it up from there.

Mine came with risers so when I lift the dirtbike I can still bring it up fairly high.

I've got both, plus a harbor freight 4 arm one like the Red Craftsman one.

Opinion on the Yellow Craftsman 3 arm one: The bike can wallow front to back on the jack. I don't like that at all. I use it the least of all my jacks. Goes up and down nicely.

Opinion on the Red Craftsman 4 arm one: It fits under my Roadie standing straight up and down. Lift the bike straight. Bike cannot wallow much if at all. Especially if on the jack LOCKS, to prevent it from falling down. Goes up and down nicely.

Opinion on the Orange Harbor Freight 4 arm one: It also, fits under my Roadie standing straight up and down. Lifts the bike straight. Bike doesn't wallow much, but more than the Red Craftsman one. If on the jack LOCKS, to prevent it from falling down it is as stable as the Red Craftsman. Goes up nicely... careful on the down... FAST FAST FAST. I made a modification to the pedal that only allows the pedal to open the valve slightly. Its basically a jack screw mounted in an interference location.

I use the HF one mostly for dirty work. I use the Red Craftsman one for clean work and washing the bike. I use the Yellow Craftsman one for nearly nothing, except in the Winter to jack up my two bike to place then on Shop Dollies, since it lifts a bit higher than the others and is less wide and allows me to lower the bikes on the the Shop Dollies.

I have a Red Craftsman.
I've had it for over 10 years
and have had no issues at all with it.
I don't know how I got along without it.
