My Ultimate just came today, but I won't be able to try it out until sometime this weekend. I know it takes a bit of time for it to conform to the butt, and I've read a lot of good reports here about it, I'm going to give it some lengthy road testing.

You have the CUSTOM solo seat...made by Corbin
STR-4WM24-10-04 if the last number you gave me was a -04
The Comfort Cruise Solo is the one you have linked to and is NOT made by Corbin but by a company outsourced by Yamaha...

I had the opportunity try both because of a mix up on E-bay

Kept the Custom solo and sold the Comfort cruise one

then sold the Custom solo for the Dual touring..by Corbin

The Custom solo is a better made seat although very similar

Had one in each hand and the Corbin was a little heavier..
I dont see the corbin made seats on the Star motorcycle website????

yet they are still referenced on Cruiser Customizing

Cruiser Customizing Custom Solo

So I believe the rumour MAY be true ...that Corbin has quit selling to Yammi because of this imitaion product
and the Comfort Cruise is the only one now listed and you must buy thru Corbin for both the dual touring and the CUSTOM solo seat..(Classic solo)

Just ordered the Corbin Dual Touring Saddle w/driver and passenger backrests. Should be here at the end of the month.....cannot wait!!! I'll revise my signature pic once I get the Corbin installed.
