Riding Home Saturday, after a great time Riding into the Mountains with friends ,headed Home down Interstate, got to my Exit, started up it and a SUV, a Giant one, cut across the grass, and cut not more then 3 feet in front of us my wife was on back, onto Exit I braked quickly ! and addressed him with my middle finger and he gave right back well long story short got up next to him at light had words, wanted beat the piss out of him Wife stopped me Dang woman. She was right not worth it But started to think The what if he took us out right there got me thinking about slowing down on riding lots of idiots out there A little shaky right now

I can understand your frustration and uncertainty. Had a friend of mine lay a bike down yesterday on some loose gravel going around a curve. He is sore and has a small amount of road rash, but overall okay. Has got me to thinking too. Easy to become too comfortable on the bikes and drop your defenses. I understand some things are out of our control, but we as bikers have to do all we can to protect ourselves. Glad you guys are safe.

Jona, sounds to me like the SUV was in the process of missing their exit off the interstate and cut across the grass to intercept the exit ramp.

Yeah Guys I have had a couple of tools pull out in front of me on my RS, its big black and loud and they still don't see it. I rode my ZZR1100 around for 12 months without incident. Go figure. But I am a little philisophicial(I hope I spelt that right)if your gunna buy your gunna buy it, enjoy it while you can.

Wow! Glad the both of you are okay. I was almost hit yesterday on my way to Lowes to return a few things. I was taken the back roads threw our town, there was a truck and a bike in front of me when we came up to the 4-way intersection downtown. Now its no longer a 4-way as the one of the bridges is down due to Irene. As we get to the intersection; we have the right away, the truck pulls a left as well as the bike and you guess it I wanted to go left too. The little green ford ranger off to our left decided it was okay to go after the bike went by him; some how I must have been invisible, and pulled from the intersection to go straight threw. I was watching him and others there because I do not trust anyone at intersections period!. I hit my brakes and blew the horn and by the time he stopped because the passenger was screaming at him to stop too, he was halfway threw the intersection. This guy had balls enough to tell me to go like I was in the wrong and he was being polite to let me go because of the way he was looking at me. I yelled at him to get his no good waiting a** the F**k out of the street and off the road before he does kill someone! Everyone there was blowing there horns to get his attention to stop too. What an a-hole. Oh, I did make it to Lowes and back safely after that!

around here sometimes i think the county is tryin to see how many bikes they can make go down.
they have takin to rocking allot of the 2 lane country roads that are concrete for some reason
no oil just loose gravel. funny thing is one road in particular they only do the s curve so that ya come
clippin down the straight about 60-65 and then your like oh sh!t and gotta try to slow down in a hurry
so you don't end up goin a$$ over teakettle .
