My wife and I, and other couple, spent the weekend riding in and around Mount Rainier and the Cascade Mountains. Beautiful weather. Unfortunately, many of the roads into the park were closed, but we still saw plenty and had a great time. Put on just under 400 miles over the weekend.

Scootergirl and I did a 9/11 "ride to remember" Charity ride Saturday, it was 100 miles with 3 stops. The last stop was a block party down town Green Bay. Silver_fox was there too, but I didn't see him once we stopped at the end, I think he split off.

The official count was 364 bikes with over 500 total riders. we literally doubled the population of some of the towns we stopped at.

Nope, I didn't split off. I was parked one row in front of your bike. I was there for about a 1/2 hour and then took off home to meet up with the wife. It was a good ride. Glad to see you two.

Really? Terri and I looked for your bike, Dan had to go wizz, then we went and got a beer from the tent, didn't see you anywhere... your new name is going to be Stealth_Fox...

I'm still on my weekend ride. Left Wyoming Thursday morning for a ride down to Amarillo TX and will be headed home tomorrow. 700 miles one way. Its been very therapeutic.

I worked all weekend taking care of sick people, catching glimpses of 9/11 memorials and NFL games on their TV's. Work week is done now, my turn to ride No particular destination in mind, probably just pick a direction and go.

I wish my weekend rides were as good as some of yalls.

Hubby and I spent Saturday getting our money refunded from the local bike shop (he took his bike in to get all his fluids changed and they didnt change his main oil, just filled it with more oil....and that was found because they overfilled his oil and we had to use a baster to get it out). So, after getting our money back, we went and bought some Oil for his bike and mine. I completed my first oil change, ever.

Then we rode about 100 miles, just cruising around while running some errands.

Sunday, he ripped his baffles out and cut them down. Replaced them, then we took our bikes to Buffalo Wild Wings to meet with some of his workers for beer, wings, and football.

All in all, it was a decent weekend.

Riding near Ranier...nice.

I was supposed to go on a group ride over the weekend to the St Michaels, MD area but it was rained out and there was flooding in the area.

I did a 275 mile local ride to Rocky Point, NC, near Wilmington. Nice ride, fast down and slow back, with fresh oil in the R* veins. The engine ran great and the shifting was like buttah. The weather was perfect and the countryside was beautiful.
