Probably my bad. Should have posted on a new thread. Didnt mean to continue debate...was just giving update on my experience w the ct. Not trying to convince anybody into switching. Actually hope they dont....maybe they wont be so hard to find. Love a good debate but that wasnt my intention.

I think it's because there has been a lot of name calling lately and people are getting touchy.
Or it could be that it's just that time of the year. I know it's gettin to me already

Agreed. In the interweb world it's easy for someone to say something that someone else misinterprets. Within a few mouseclicks name-calling starts and in the end, who wins? Nobody. You know what...it doesn't really matter...you will never ever meet the other guy, and that's almost a guarantee. Take a break from it, don't post for awhile, ride a bit, and come back a little later and it's all good. This IS a good place, and the mods do a great job handling a ton of testosterone.

Getting this thread back on track, I have one question: What are the CT brands and sizes that are actually working well on Road Stars?
And, if I may add a second question: What tire pressure is working well on the very few CTs that seem to measure up.
I must replace a rear tire this winter, and don't mind at all giving a CT a try.
Oh, and I'd really like one that comes closest in outside diameter as stock, to preserve my SpeedoHealer setting, since I'm already running a 31 tooth front pulley.
Only answers from actual users here on the Clinic are going to carry any weight with me.

I have a Bridgestone turanza 175-60-16. My speedo is off by about 4mph as checked by 2 other vehicles. I have my pressure set at 38psi, but it will take 800-1000 miles for the tire to get broken in.
