the GoPro2 is much improved from the first one.. and the image stabilization is unreal.. I tried the whole digital-video camera thing they cant keep up with the vibrations and the camera is constantly tryin to refocus.. heck a IPHONE mount would be better .. Im goin with the new GoPro2 .. i bet the originals price comes down real soon..

and you have to play with the video on your computor first "editing the clips to make it watchable..

Rico if you want a cam that is easier theres a bunch out there.. theres coomparisons on YOUTUBE..
heck put the HOT WHEELS camera on your HELMET

If you are getting vibration, you have it mounted to something that vibrates OR the mount itself is resonating to whatever speed you are running at ( had that happen more than once!! ) and vibrates at different speeds. I always try to use the shortest mount possible and never try to mount to your windshield. It moves constantly.

The main improvement on the GoPRO2 is the higher resolution (11 megapixel vs 5 megapixel). The GoPRO HD is a great camera. Editing the video is easy too.

I LOVE my GoPRO.....

www.woot.com has the GoPro 1080p HD Helmet Hero for $129.99 + $5.00 S&H. Best price I've seen so far. I ordered one this morning.

man them things are expensive

You know, considering what the thing does I don't think they are too expensive. They are not cheap but considering what you get... A full HD camera of that size and the mounting options are numerous. I noticed that they don't kill you on price of the different mounts either. A still camera to boot.

The thing does just a few things, but does them really well. The original is now down in the $150.00 range. You can set the thing to snap a fairly high rez picture at different intervals while it's shooting video too. Overall even for the HDHero 2, for me, the price is pretty reasonable.
