I run 36 frt/40rr on my 880's , but I also go 220lbs and my better half chimes in at 140 (any wonder why my frame drags w/o the beefed up spring and the flip already done????)

Hi all,
I’m riding with my third Bridgestone G702 on my RS 2002 and the tread has a tendency to flatten out after a few thousands miles. Is it a structural problem or is it my 235 pounds! I’m a maniac when it comes to proper tire inflation; I keep them at 36psi front, 41psi rear. Does some of you have experienced the same problem? (Don’t take my bike’s pic into consideration, cause it was taken when the G702 only had a few hundreds miles.)
I’m planning to go with the Metz M 880 next summer. So can I expect the 160mm tread to keep its shape or will it do the same thing as the G702?
Thanks
RG
