This is the route I took and for the money, it was an awesome deal. After an hour in the stock seat I was ruined, but with the reworked stock seat, I can ride all day, no problem! http://www.pacificcoaststar.com/pcs/road_star_seats.htm

Thanks for the input, but ironically, that's what my bike came with, [the classic tour seat] and my tailbone has never been the same. I couldn't ride for more than 15 mins before it started to hurt and after 30, it was unbearable. As a result, I went with a stock seat and a $20 Walmart gel pad . It's been 6 months and the pain has almost gone but I sit way too high now. I hope there's an option that works for me.

What about the Yamaha Star Accessories, Comfort Cruise Boulevard Seat?

http://www.

Considering I'm looking for lower, narrower seat that does not push me forward, how does it compare? Any big-guys out there have experience with it?

I have the famous Walmart gel pad too. LOL

Personally, what I'm really looking for is a seat that will lower me, without pushing me forward... or as forward as little as possible. [yes I understand about the horns] Right now, I feel like I'm sitting on *top* of my bike, not down in it. This can be a bit disconcerting on the freeway at higher speeds.

Chiefriceburner-. I don't doubt the comfort of the ED seats, and the price is certainly good, but they look I have two choices, either too high or too far forward for me. Can you offer any insight on this?

Gram- for the very reasons stated above, I've been looking at the Corbin Hollywood seat. How has that been on long rides for you?

Yes I have a solution. The standard E.D.Seat which is what I now have on mine. It drops you lower and still keeps you back, again all day comfort. If you want one with studs I have one available that I will sell for $300.

Here is mine:

Here is the one I am selling:

Saw in a recent mag that the new Danny grays have the airhawk cushion tech built in now.
In run the Ultimate saddle, I'm happy with it.
