Now I may never have to take my bike to a dealer!! Glad to have you on board to ed-u-ma-cate folks like me who barely know which end of the wrench to hold or if I need a right or left handed screwdriver.

I just saw this post just now.

Wow! We haven't even talked about my severance package or bonuses yet.

Who knew? I mean, almost 40 years ago I started riding and modifying motorcycles; 30 years ago I was a computer programmer; 20 years ago I was managing a technical writing company. (All this is true).

It seems, I've finally reached the pinnacle of my professional life--what it's all been leading up to--by accepting this position which demands my complete skill set

In any case, thanks to all for your well wishes. I've got two more topics currently nearing final-draft status:

* Upgrading your Stator and Rectifier/Regulator... for those with pre-2005 bikes.

* A series of, now, 15 interwoven articles on doing a Complete Engine Teardown... for your winter-time big-bore plans, or other serious engine rebuilding needs.

After these are done, I was thinking, maybe it would be good for us to put in some articles for the basics. For instance, we don't seem to have anything on any of these:

* Removing the Fuel Tank
* Removing the Carburetor and Intake Manifold
* Installing New Exhaust Pipes
* Removing and Installing the Wheels
* Changing a Signal Light-Bulb
* Maintaining Your Control Cables
* Upgrading Your Rear Spring

...and other such stuff.

This way, our readership can keep encouraging the great, broad, range of Roadie enthusiasts--everyone from the gear-heads to the commuters to the stop-light-maniacs to the motorcycle neophytes.

My time doesn't allow me to sit on the forum as much as I'd love to. And working on articles is job-1 for me. But once I get my initial round of documents in the works, I'll be hitting everyone up for "What comes next."

Again, thanks to all.
