Rain pants that won't melt? 1 Year ago
I've been doing searches online, but haven't been able to come up with any that describes their product as not melting due to the heat from the bike engine.

Does anyone know of a product? Thanks!

They need to have a heat pad on the lower inner leg area, I had the same problem as you until I finally bought a good pair.

Here is what I use along with the matching jacket, It works great. Notice the description where it says
Heat-resistant material from knee to ankle:

Thanks, guys! I know that they're made, I just haven't been able to find any online that describe their product as heat resistant.

I'll check the link, chiefriceburner! Thanks!

The next trick will be to find merchants who ship internationally and via USPS. It's always something over here. Although, I have had very good success recently with Ebay shipping from the US.

Rico, If you read the 3rd item in disription it says:

Heat resistant material panels line the lower inseams to help protect the pants from engine heat.

Those are very similar to the Tour Master Venture pants I have. The venture pants don't list the heat resistant material but I've never burned them. They are great in the cold weather too. You may not need the cold weather bonus though!!

I have the Tourmaster, they have built in heat shields. Or you can take any rainsuit and sew on where needed an ironing board cover cut to size
