Umm... without trying to sound like a total noob (which I am) what's a pms? I mean, I've done my best to tune OUT pms over 25 years of marriage but I don't think that's what you're talking about...

The bike has a cobra pipe, BAK and a Dynatek 3000 module on it. It has been rejetted, but I'm not sure what sizes, or what the ignition tuning is yet.

Toodamtall... I don't want to hijack the thread but, how do you like that cobra pipe? Is it a little throaty sounding ? I like that one because the muffler is straight....not flared out.. I think I'm going to sell 1 of my other set of cobras and get that 1. I'm running out of nails on the garage wall to hang anymore sets of exhaust.

I love this pipe! I has this deep throaty rumble, without the harsh bark that you can get from some pipes. It just makes the bike sounds big and powerful, but not obnoxious.

I tried the nut on the bottom and had bad results.Put the nut back on top and screwed the screw and nut all the the way in , then backed it off 1/2 turn. A couple of coughs when the bike is cold. One small blip after 15-20 miles of city riding.

When we discussing this on the other thread...I wasn't sure if you saw were I had replied back or not....I mentioned that so far, I didn't have any issues with the nut on the bottom, and the screw seated on the stop. What I failed to mention, was that I had stepped up to the 37.5 pilot so I could screw my PMS in closer to 2.5 turns out.
I'm think'n that the slightly bigger pilot jet, may be aiding me with the roll on response not having any lags. Just a thought.
