I know what you mean, I can't stand heights, no rooftops for me without a wall at least waist high...but I love to fly, have been up in an ultra-light, and if I can lose 200 lbs. (just over 400 right now) I want to learn to skydive....but I won't climb up on my roof....

I am not crazy about heights but I can handle it most of the time. Not in this case! Couldn't finish second video, it was making me dizzy. F*** that!

Ok good, I thought it was just me!
I don't know how I climbed trees as a kid and didn't give a rats ass. The older I get the more scared of heights I am too.
Found Bishop's Castle by accident when I was riding in Colorado and climbed up to the top. Damn near sh*t myself when I went outside of the hand rails. Some old lady made fun of me when I got back down "You mean you're riding a motorcycle through the mountains and you're scared of a little heights?" It was actually pretty funny at the time.

In my crazier days, I actually stepped over the rails, climbed down the embankment, out on to this ledge (that's probably been there 1 million years), dangled my feet over and had a smoke. Probably the best smoke I ever had, come to think of it.
Here's what the view looked like from there...
If I ever had to slip and fall off something and meet my maker, I'd probably be ok with this one (compared to falling off a roof).

Can't watch those type of movies without getting vertigo and almost go into a panic attack. Wife thinks it's funny but then again she is afraid of spiders so I guess we're even.  |
