Ok this was 3 years ago and involved the bike I had before the R*
But you get the idea!
Spent mucho diniero and lots of time and effort restoring this antique Shovelhead only to come home one day in the middle of a rainstorm to find it sitting in 3 feet of water in my shed!
I started her up(Underwater) and got her halfway up the hill in my back yard before the back tire started spinning and she dug herself right up to the bags!
Took my truck and a towchain on the crashbars to get her out!
Unfortunatly for me she was never right again....To bad cause she sure was a beauty!
Talk about a baaaad day!

Wow that would not be a good day I feel for you on that no bike should end up that way  I have had a small stream where my bike is in my shed dirt floor and low area of the yard is not a good combination |

there where extrodianary circumstances with record rainfall. the shed was in a low lying area but was 2 feet off the ground.
I went through everything except what I should have(The Primary Case) checked the oild and gas and she was running fine after that.
Found out later that water had got inside the primary case rusting the primary chain causing it to snap. When the chain broke it broke the primary case.....it was all downhill(mechanicly) after that....
Everything happens for a reason! The Shovel was about done and I needed a new project ending up with the asskicking bike you see before you! what do I do when this one done is the next question?
She sure was a beauty though!
