I thought it was funny they thought it was important to point out, that he was driving a Prius. Is this supposed to present the driver as some sort of victim. A poor unfortunate who was attacked by Dennis Hopper, and the crew from the Exxon Valdez, while he was trying to save the planet in his wannabee car.

Good point! But I thought it portrayed him as a pretentious pretty-boy driving daddy's car.

Prius owners everywhere are looking at themselves in the mirror, at this very moment.

I posted it as I just liked it that he gets to pay for wrecking the bikes, the hospital bills, fixing his own car AND he got an ass whipping for free!

This made me grin. Nothing to serious, an appropriate ass whooping was delivered, no one of importance got hurt. Maybe those that read it will drive more carefully in the future.

A while back I remember reading a thread on here about how when a cager cuts us off, or changes lanes into ours, how common it is for us to set out for revenge like "the stare", "the finger", etc, and how that become dangerous for us because now we're distracted.

(I have a harley friend that carries marbles in his top pocket ready to launch at windshields, or hes been known to beat on the drivers window with his fist or kicks the door - YES, WHILE GOING DOWN THE FREEWAY, doesn't matter to him, if you pissed him off, he'll let you know)

2 weeks ago, on a sunday, 2 of us were on the Freeway in Orange County, riding in the #2 lane with all other cars around us in all the other lanes going about the same speed (no one was changing lanes, etc).
Getting ready to slowly pass a ford mini van in the #3 lane when all of a sudden without signal or anything they moved right in my lane to where I had to hit the brakes really fast. I immediately thought of that thread and my harley friend and was glad I was in such a mellow and relaxed mood cuz I just let it go.

Turns out that same van got off at the same exit and I thought what they heck, if the windows down, I'm saying something. I stopped along side and yelled, "HEY, DID YOU KNOW YOU ALMOST HIT ME BACK THERE"? She looked like she could give a rats ass and said "NO SIR I DIDN'T" I said, "THAT'S BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T LOOKING, LOOK AROUND, USE YOUR SIGNALS"

That was better than marbles, right?

I read the article and all the posts about it. Here is my feelings, like it or not. I don't think it's right to whoop some one because they are an idiot, even if they deserve it. Going back to the way I was raised, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Once the driver was pulled over and looking eye to eye with a dozen bikers pissed off would probably make him wet himself thinking of the beating he might deserve.

I think maybe someone should have taken his little car for a ride, and put him on the passenger seat of someones bike for a few miles to show him how dangerous he was being. Walk in our shoes so to speak. Drop him off a few miles from his car and let him walk to his "Green" machine thinking the entire time about how lucky he is that the "Bikers" didn't just kill him.

Justice is making things right and making a difference for everyone involved.

Just my $0.02 cents worth..... here's your soapbox back

Leaving the scene of an accident. Cops consider that bad juju...
