Had the same thing happen on Monday. Had a pickup pull up beside me on the highway giving the 'thumbs up' sign. He later 'stalked me to a gas station and said, 'Dude that's a sick bike...what is it!"

I told him it was a Roadstar to which he nodded a drove off. Of course he thought that was the brand, which made me chuckle.

I'm replacing my stock silverado bags with a pair that look like they're from an Indian Chief. I figure with all the leather hanging off of the thing, I might as well makeup my own brand name.

As someone once said on our forum....love what you ride and I do!

I can't decide whether they just don't know what a roadstar is or if they just think nothing measures up to a harley. I lean towards the fact that people who do not ride just don't know anything about bikes and their brands but everyone knows the name harley. Just like if you asked me what the best brand of minivan is i would just stare at you too with a dumb look.

Cuse if'n they'd of called it a "HighwayHero", they'd of needed a bigger tank.
