Anybody ever use a Hawk Helmet? 11 Months ago
I was looking at the GLD-911

...anybody got good or bad to say?

FWIW, the shape of my head seems to best fit in HJC helmets (rounder instead of oblong, I guess ). I know JDAce recommended the BiLT helmets and said they are shaped similar to HJC, so those are high on my list, but wondering about Hawk as well. I think Darn said he had one...?

Thanks,

RK

My girl has one of these in pink Queen paint. She likes it a lot. It seems to fit close to HJC or Shoei.

I have a Hawk I bought on Ebay. It's fine, nothing special, serves its purpose.

I use an HJC for the long highway rides though.

I use this one in the winter, great helmet. Snug but fits well. I have a round head too.

I have an older model hawk that is similar.. I use it in the winter. It has the flip down shades and was a reasonable price. I like it..........

My wife and I both use Hawks - similar to the one you mention. Like the built in sunshade as well as being able to adjust visor up in slow traffic and to slightly open the visor on hot days for air circulation. Never any problems. Decent price for options.
