THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE POSITIVE COMMENTS...... FIREMAN, They are much thicker then sheet metal, I bought a 2 foot piece of it at my local MENARDS STORE for about $12...I first started out with a piece of thick posterboard to make a template, then i made my first set out of sheetmetal, but they were way too flimsey, then I used this thick ass metal. It had alot of room and looked like there was no way it could move that much but it did. If you ever see the inside bottom corner bent ,it hit the tire. I replaced them with set made from material off a ford Taurus front rubber bumper. here is a pic of the one that hit the tire. I double checked mine for clearence from the tire and it seems i'm good to go. Thanks for the tip.
