Update- AAA *does* offer Roadside Assistance in CA 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago
I week ago, I posted that a AAA rep here in CA told me I could not get their roadside assistance package without purchasing an insurance policy too. That turned out to be a load of crap! It just didn't set right with me so I called around and was able to get the coverage. I have to say, it's pretty damn amazing how good the coverage is too:

- 200 mile tow once a year and three 100 mile tows after that. [The best I found next to that was 35 miles from AMA]
One Day FREE Car Rental with a Tow if needed
$300,000 Travel Accident Insurance
$25,000 Emergency Medical Transportation Coverage — They’ll cover your evacuation if you get injured or sick on a trip.
$1,500 Road Trip Interruption and Delay Coverage — If your trip is delayed overnight due to a vehicle breakdown, accident or illness, They'll cover your lodging, meals and transportation expenses.
$500 Lost Baggage Coverage — Reimburses up to $250 to purchase emergency clothes if your bags are broken into or fall off on a trip, plus cover up to $250 of the cost to ship replacement items to you from home.
They'll even pay $50 toward replacing a broken windshield and up to $3000 in additional accessories coverage.

I've got to say that's pretty amazing and makes me feel a lot better knowing. It's $192 a year but it would have saved me over $800 on my recent incident alone.

Ya...it's good coverage...our Canadian equivalent is BCAA (British Columbia Auto Assoc.)..around the $192 mark..and for another $19 I can add our RV. You gotta know I'll be covered by this when off to Sturgis...

Since you got the Premium RV package, I assume this covers all your vehciles and not just the bike.

Don't have my bike on AA (yet) but can't tell you how many times we've used the lockout and gas service over the years

I have them and I use the sh*t out of them

Our Yukon got plowed by a bulldozer when it was six months new
I wanted it totaled but they said "no, they will fix the whole thing like new and it's covered for life"

So now when anything isn't "like new" I take it in and get a free rental car and have them make it "like new"

the whole thing has been painted at least three times, new windows a few times, anything mechanical... I just say "Bulldozer" and they fix it

bet by now they wished they totaled it
