Passenger Floor Boards 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Anybody using the OEM passenger floor board mounts? I am interested in how far forward they mount the floorboards, pictures would be great. Any other good options? The better half needs some floor boards rather than the foot pegs and they need to be moved slightly forward so her legs and feet are not in that street bike position.

I have the ED passenger seat and Tsukayu bags for a reference. Sig picture does not show ED seats that are installed. Thanks

If you can make it out. Stock rear boards. Stock bags lowered with Geno's brkts, can't recall if middle or lowest hole I'm using for the bag brkts, but it's one of em. lol

I have mine further forward than Erbman, that seemed to work best with my setup.

I think it's a matter of switching the bracket...

Thanks guys, does this look like the correct mount;

http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-STAR-ACCESSORIES-ROAD-STAR-PASSENGER-FLOORBOARDS-MOUNTS-STR-4WM57-40-01-/300694795445#ht_1269wt_905?

I see several different mounts but I think this is the correct mount and the part # is STR-4WM57-40-01. Thanks

or if you are handy, find a set of Roadking, UltraClassic passenger floor boards and make then fit. I did.

1. Because the stock mounts and floorboards are way to spendy.
2. The stock ones are really unsightly when folded up
3. I could mount them in any position to ease the bitching from the passenger seat.

i said easing not stopping.

If you look at Erbman02 picture and mine you can see the
difference the switch made to mine.The mound should be going down and to the front.

Thanks for the help guys. I may try to fab up a set of mounts after looking closely at my ride. Guess I need to find a set of floorboards that I want first. The only problem with the HD boards are I am constantly telling people it's not a Harley... that would really confuse them .

Forward and lower really helps with passenger depending on how tall they are. I had to fab some extension brackets which really helped. Depending on how far forward and lower you want them the stock pipes might be a hinderence.
