Hey guys,
i used the pacific coast star ultimate slam kit and their seate xhcange.
Made a huge difference. The dogbone flip i think would lower it too much. I tried the barons spring first..and quickly changed to the progressive 1250. LOVE IT. it is soft, but stiffens up quickly when needed on bumps and for two up. Wife and I are 450 so it gets a work out! Between the spring ( 1/2&quotand the bones ( 1-3/4&quot
the suspension still has a lot of travel...and their seat dropped it another 1- 1.5"...

Hey Guys, I got the Barons Rear Lowering Bracket as a Christmas gift. The kit recommends new stock bearings and spring -both sold separately-, which considerably adds to the cost. I'm not sure if this is the way I want to go in lowering my bike.

I see two other kits that appear easier to install and are cheaper, the Looneys Complete Rear Lowering Kit and the Pacific Coast Star Sping Slam Package both use longer control arms and include the spring.

Any advice or input regarding which style is better would be greatly appreciated.

It's not lowered.

I scrape the pegs at stock height so I won't lower it. At one time I did have it about 1.5" lower in front and I really tore the pegs up.
