I got a 1 piece from this guy and it's great, goes on easy, well vented and rolls up small to fit in the bags and does a great job of keeping the wind off you. Price is right to. Also has a alot of leathers and other gear. Even a black and pink rainsuit for those of you so inclined

I ride in Florida so rain is a given. I have the First Gear suit and it has never let me down, well made and very functional. A lot of people like Frog Togs because they breath, but they also burn easily. I find the First Gear suit to be comfortable even on those warm days when I have to suit up. It has kept me dry in some very heavy rain. I also suggest that you get some gators for your boots that slip over them and keep them dry.

I have been using Frog Toggs, more specifically the Road Toad model (for motorcyclists) you can order from their website. They come in black, have a reflective white piping for visibility, and have been reinforced at the seams for wind. I had to order mine, because I am a BIG boy and they carry big boy sizes on their website. Also, it's nice that the legs unzip as high as they do, so I can get them on without taking off my size 13 boots.

Adequate rain protection, able to stand up to high speeds, and lightweight... perfect solution for me.

Re:Rain gear 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I bought a Nelson Riggs rainsuit a couple of yrs ago before my 2300 mile bike trip. I only had to wear it once. It is very comfortable, lightweight, breathable (vents with flaps on the back), and it actually looks good. they come in a variety of different colors with a reflector strip for visibility. They weren't all that pricey either. If I remember right, I paid somewhere around $60-$70. Ok, maybe a little more pricey for some people, but like I said, they fit very well so the loose clothing is at a minimum at high speed so there isn't much of a "flag in the wind" effect going on. Good luck

Re:Rain gear 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I hate to plug Wal*mart but like CruiserBob said living in FLA, rain is a given...

I had riding baby about a week and was heading home from work. (65 miles South of where I live...) Half way home the sky to the North was black-green! (Tornado weather or, at least, a Florida "frog-strangler...&quot I pulled into Wal*Mart and $55 later came out with a set of Stearns rain gear. Velcro and snaps everywhere and in very visable colors... (I chose bright green with grey and refletive strips across the back and down the pantlegs.)

Once outside, I was suited up and stayed dry all the way home... (Except for my feet... Shoulda, kept them dang Wal*Mart bags!)

Funny enough though, ever since then... When I hit a few sprinkles, I stop, suit up... And wind up looking like the dorkiest rider on the road... (It always stops raining when I'm suited) Go figure...

Of course this is Florida... The only place I've ever been riding in the rain, while my buddy, in the next lane, has to wear sunscreen!
