I guess I'll just measure the depth of the hole and the existing bolts to see if there's enough purchase once the bars are installed to give it enough stregth. For those of you who actually buy stuff new, are the bolts that come with a new set of bars longer than the ones that are removed? Here's a pic if that might help. I ended up getting 10MM fine thread bolt 25mm (stock is 15mm) long. Worked just right.
