Hey Starcruiser! Is that Checkers your bike is parked in front of in Daytona?

Well, I ventured down to Main St. last night; mostly hung around on a street corner and took in the sights and sounds. While much of the trendier stuff is now up at Destination Daytona (Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley mecca), there is still nothing in town to match the true spectacle of Main St.

I could kick myself for not taking a few pics, but here is the short list from about on hour on the curb:
First and foremost, fabulous bikes of all makes; mostly Harley, but a slightly stronger metric presence than I have seen in the past; surprisingly few R*'s though.
A bobber that was so low to the ground, the rider was almost crab walking it down Main St.,
Boss Hoss trike ridden by a parapalegic, strapped in,
12 year old on a totally chopped minibike,
Immaculate Moto Guzzi, guessing from 80's (?), painted red, green and white length-wise stripes,
Lots of boogie lights on bikes, all colors,
Metallic silver and chrome V Rod,
Stretched / lowered sport bike all in flames,
Yellow bikini bottoms with fishnet stockings,
Lots of women riders,
A 5 year old asleep on the back of full dress HD,
And it was a pretty slow night.

Obvioulsy, too much to mention and words don't do justice. Hopefully, I will make a few rounds with a camera before the week is out. But, gotta work all week!

I re-read the last post...I hope the observation of the parapalegic on the Boss Hoss was not perceived to be written in poor taste. I assure you it was not intended that way. It was just one of those things you don't see everyday. I thought it was pretty awesome actually.

Didn't take it that way at all. It's cool to see everyboby enjoying themselves on bikes, trikes, Cushman scooters or what ever they have. Good for the gut on the Boss Hoss for finding a way to feel the wind in his face.
Ride on!!!!!

I was surprised at what few r*s that I saw as well. I tell you one thing.....I looked at just about every kind of bike you can name when I bought mine a few months ago. Everyday I am pleased with what I bought. It is a GREAT bike for the money! It is a very comfortable ride...
