Somehow the long bolt that secures the left side cover on my bike has worked it's way out and is somewhere along the road in the Atlanta area.

If anyone has an extra they wouldn't mind parting with I'll gladly buy it from you. I figure buying here as gotta be a better idea than ordering from a stealer.

Mark,

You talking about the one in the center of the cover itself?

check your local hardware store usually NOT home depot or lowes. like true value or Ace they will have a large selection of metric stainless bolts. I just ride my bike over and start hunting they will usually let me go out and try it to make sure I got the right one. WAY cheaper than the stealer, ebay etc.

Yup, what Steve said. Yamaha wants outrageous prices for a simple bolt, just price out some windshield hardware sometime. Most of mine are now from the local True Value.

BB, if it is, can I have it back????? And sorry about the tire.

Power Parts has a good price on the bolt, only $1.70
Shipping to me from them: $13.00

I'm going to call my local stealer and give them the part number and see how far they want me to bend over.
