Clifdog,

I tip my hat to you! It is great that you are involved in molding young minds. It is evident from your posts that you get a lot of satisfaction from witnessing the youth putting all of this together. I wish I wasn't a continent away because it would be an honor to participate. Did you post an address to send a donation to?

Ok last bump from me.. This show is gonna be a lot of fun.. pretty riding weather to get out and show off your bike.. and see the work of these 22 students...

If anyone would like to make a donation just make it to your local relay for life group.. while it would be nice to bump the kids total. the message i've told them since day one is to do it for the right reason, to help cure cancer... not impress others with a high total.. (course i wanna see a high total for them)

thanks to all and look foward to seeing those who can come... I'll be wearing my 20 race hat for Stewart WOOT

Big thanks to Coug for coming out.... wish more could have come but its all good.. do what ya can when ya can and do it well when ya do it.....

On the plus side.. we had over 130 cars show up for the show.... we are still waiting on a few things to get the final count.. but my kids raised over $4000 for RELAY for LIFE...

Now that is the real future of America... and those who say we in public schools aren't doing our jobs... well i can tell you where to put your lips....

I am quite proud of these kids and they deserve massive kudos.. I'll include the link to the newspaper article when it hits...

later

Congrats on the turn out and the amount yall raised for Relay for Life! You are right, we don't emphasize the positives enough on our youth. We tend to focus on the negatives. I work with our middle school guys at our church. It is amazing how desperate some kids are for attention from an adult, especially male. Keep up the good work!

I hate that I couldn't make it. I drove the family to Anniston, AL to my wife's parents for Easter. I must have passed 100 bikes on the way, and my roadie sat alone in the garage .
