EDG, Arcturus, Fifty-yet, SlowRide, Yakman, Dawg, all WA Roadies,

Might be a ways to go for some of you, but I believe an Easter Ride is in order since the weather is going to be clear on Saturday. Don't have a destination yet, but can certainly come up with a meeting place. Either the Yella Beak in Enumclaw or the River Road Saloon in Puyallup.

I am currently planning an 11am meet with some others at the Beak, then we could cruise to the River Road Salloon for a noonish departure.

If you are interested, or are wanting some driving directions, give me a call.

All are welcome, so bring a friend. We will probably make a couple of whistle stops.

Re:Calling all WA Riders 8 Months ago
Sounds like it would be a great ride and I'm familiar with the River Road Saloon, I lived in Graham for 13 years, but I'm 150 miles away and won't be able to make time for it this time. I know we have to take advantage of the good weather when we get it because the good riding days have been few this year. I hope to get in a short ride tomorrow, but we are still making repairs from the floods and storm that hit in Dec. We got hit pretty hard and just got approved for some disaster funds to finish rebuilding. We have our own version of Bike Week out here called the Sun and Surf Run at the end of July, all riders are welcome, check the website and learn more www.sunandsurfevent.com Anyway, thanks for the invite Mr. Breeze, let's try again some other time.

Boy it looks like I picked the wrong weekend to go to Washington. I was up there this last weekend. Would have loved to join ya on this ride but now I'm home (Northern CA). By the way, what would be the nice places to live if someone had to commute into Seattle for work? (part of the reason I was up there last weekend) At least it sounds like there are plenty of fellow Roadie riders I could team up with.

BCB,
Depends on how far you want to commute. I personally commute about 45min to 1hr to Enumclaw. Do you prefer city or country? Where would you be working, north or south? Mountain man or sea man? There are a lot of options!

Mr. Breeze,

Well it would actually be my bride-to-be working in Seattle. Right in the heart of downtown. 4th and Pike. I'd have to find a job so I can look whereever I need to. To answer your other questions:

Definitely prefer country, and mountains. Where do you commute from Enumclaw to? Traffic up there seems pretty tough.

I go from Enumclaw to Sea-Tac by personal vehicle. Commute to the downtown Seattle can be via train also from towns along hiway 167.
Yours is not an easy question.

I'm up in the Arlington area, but unfortunatly I have to work this weekend. My patients seem to get sick even on holidays. Keep on posting rides here in the beautifull northwest, and maybe I can catch you on the next ride.
