I noticed some of the people have been asking for long-sleeve, short-sleeve, different colors. Just know that I've gotten all this covered. You can order at your leisure long sleeve T's, short sleeve T's, black, brown, green, tan, white, etc. You can get hoodies, sweatshirts, tanks, sleeveless, etc. We've even got shop clocks and aprons!!!!
Take a look:

You have clearly put a lot of work into all this and they look great.
We never approved your designs (usually folks check with us first and get approval before proceeding). If you had, I would have asked you to remove the Yamaha logo which clearly is their intellectual property, and would have spent some time researching the red cross to make sure it was not the same type of issue. I am going to get a letter about that from Yamaha, its just a matter of time. They know who I am and have no qualms about getting in touch whenever they deem it to be appropriate. Those are always interesting conversations...
Please give me a call at your first opportunity. I sent my phone number by PM.
Folks, please hold off on ordering until we can resolve the intellectual property issues. I really don't want cafepress to be upset with the clinic over this if they get a letter from Yamaha. They are a great organization and I would like to think we could keep them as friends.
We appreciate the hard work brashears has put into this. He and cartersta have really gone the extra mile here.
Thanks,
Gram

Well, I've taken the cafepress shop down. It's obvious that I've pissed off the wrong people, somehow. For future reference, though, when I asked at the START of this process if I could put something together you might have just told me not to bother. On the point of the Yamaha Star logo, I didn't "steal" their logo. The dimensions and colors used were completely different and original. You can quote me on that. Cafepress does scrutinize all material that's posted to their site for sale through their legal department for any sort of infringement issues. And on the point of me presuming a sublicense of your site and name, THAT'S WHAT THIS THREAD STARTED AS! I asked if you had any issues with me putting something together.
Anyway, I know that these are all gentle excuses to let me know that you are disinterested in pursuing anything that I've put together, and I acknowlege that. The cafepress store has been closed, per your request. You won't have to worry about me putting it back up. Luckily it didn't cost you a thing! What a colossal waste of my time.

I am sorry that you have seen it this way. I did not intend it that way at all. So my apologies for offending you.
I mean that.
We are interested, and you did some great stuff. So I wish you would contact me as I requested. We simply have to be very careful about the use of the Road Star Clinic name and any potential copyright/patent infringements. Believe me, Yamaha is not shy about defending their rights.
Please contact me.

Brashears , I'll vouch for Gram, He's not throwing you under the bus. But The Road Star Clinic is his baby, and he will be the first to hear from Yamaha. I also know he liked your work. That's not me blowing smoke up your Butt either. That patch you see is one that was approved after much consideration. Keith (Cartersta) started his tee sometime back , but his wife became very ill , and his project had to wait. But he too, ran ideas and designs past Gram. Not so Gram could criticize them , but just so he could make sure there would be no legal recourse.
I think it's possible you have misinterpreted Grams post. He/we appreciate your efforts, but I also think That you probably understand that legally , he is bound to protect his interest , and keep the mother ship (Yamaha) off his back. Please accept his posting in the manner it was meant in. And give him a shout, so you two can discuss things. Regards, BB

Any News when we could do the final order on the Site T-Shirts. Is the design still the same as it was when they first started to talk about them?

I think there is someone else who is supposedly heading up the shirt. This design was canned due to some procedural issues. I have no idea about the other "official" shirt status.
For general information: This design and the Cafepress shop is still available. Me and the other two guys who actually got RSC shirts through it can vouch for it. I get comments on my shirt on a regular basis. Just FYI.

David,
Please stop doing this. We tried to enter into discussions with you about becoming an official vendor licensed to use the Clinic's name and you became abusive and flamed us via pm. Every pm included inferences to underhanded dealings and protection of other potential vendors.
Every time you post like this you put us into a position of having to let your words go unchallenged, or to answer and potentially start a more public flame war with you. That is not what this place is about.
The Clinic was founded in 2004. Over the ensuing years we have been approached many times by vendors with lucrative offers of support. Most were not palatable for the staff as they involved some form of endorsement we were not willing to enter into. If we allow vendors to use our name and marks without permission, we open the world to represent the clinic in ways that might not be in keeping with our basic mission statement. We have to retain control of our name and marks to prevent this.
The staff of the clinic has worked tirelessly to build, maintain, and protect the clinic. We have collectively put in so many hours toward that goal that they are now innumerable. We have done so under the guiding directives contained in our mission statement, which can be found on our front page under the main menu. I consider the staff of the clinic to be beyond reproach. Your pm's inferring that we were dealing with you in an underhanded manner, and protecting another vendor were unacceptable. I tried to tell you this and got resoundingly slapped with each successive reply.
Let me state this as clearly as is possible. The clinic is open to all vendors having the opportunity to use the clinic's name and marks subject to licensure of the name, marks, and design review of any products containing that name and marks. We do not discriminate, and no vendor has an incumbent position. That licensure will be subject to the approval of the staff, not one of which gets compensated for their work here.
And to make one final note, you ended those discussions not us.
Please stop.
