honda hoot 4 Years, 2 Months ago
Hey all, I used to have a honda shadow until a few weeks ago when i bought my roadstar and i had plans to go to the honda hoot a little honda rally in TN, curious if any of you guys ever heard of it, if it was any good, and if any of you were heading out there too(i know this is a yamaha site haha)...it is the 3rd week in June...I personally took a trip down the blue ridge parkway last year and camped all throughout NC and TN and know it was awesome

LOL, well that's the first time I've heard the Hoot called "a little honda rally."

I think you'll love it. TONS to do, lots of manufacturer demos, freebies, events, and some of the prettiest riding tours in the Smokies.

I case you were wondering, I'm a local...and I'm fer it.

I think we should take a survey on how many people on here used to have a honda shadow, I bet its a huge number.

I heard about it last April at a rest stop on I-95 in North Carolina. I swung in to stretch my legs on my way down to Savannah, GA, and started talking with two guys about their bikes, one a Goldwing, the other a Yami V-Max. They were a father and son on their way to the Honda Hoot together. Said they love the event and enjoy the father-son time.

I'm a local too.....

Been to the Honda Hoot the past several years. Lots to do and see. Vendors with just about everything you can think of, and not just for Honda's either.

Did I mention the demo rides?

Traffic ought to be a nightmare since they are going to close the Interstate ( I 40 ) down thru the downtown area, BUT....... there are plenty of other routes to get there.

I'd say my son and I will be there. We both ride Roadstars.....

Can't wait.....

Yea... I did... an '87 VT 700... all black and chrome. I had all the decals off of it, and the pipe's baffels altered, and it sounded and looked pretty impressive... although, you could never quite get rid of that "honda" sound.

I rode that bike for 8 years and had loads of fun on it.

It was amazing to me how many people would comment and say "nice harley."

Hey, I am Mike's son. MIKELJAY... Anyway I am local as well and the hoot is pretty big and there will be plenty of places to ride. There are usually all kinds of bikes there from exotics to choppers and so on. You will see probally on of everything if you look around. MY advice is park either all the way at the front or all the way at the back that way you can find your bike easier. Give me a hollar and we can run so roads together...
