Sport bike tricks 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I heard the local dealer was having some activities today, so I dropped by. Part of their attraction today was 5 young guys doing tricks on their sport bikes. These guys were totally hamming it up. Wheelies to about 85 degrees then letting go of both hands; standing on the seat, sitting on the tank with legs over the handlebars doing burnouts, hitting the front brakes and riding on the front wheel, etc. These guys were absolutely beating the hell out the bikes. It was fun and entertaining. I saw 3 of them go down at various points. From a distance, it didn't look like it hurt that bad, but they sure were slow getting back up. Hmmmm, I wonder if any of you guys ever got the front wheel of your roadie to 85 degrees??

I think these kids today got that front wheel stopping thingy from me back in 78". I was coming up on a set of RR tracks that cut across the road at an angle...a very 'sharp' angle! Friends said I had the back wheel of that ole' 360 Yami in the air just before the front wheel dropped into the space between the rail and the road and flipped me. Got to expensive for my 18 year old budget to do those tricks anymore.

In my case it was hitting a patch of fine sand at about 30 mph.

Luckily no damage .... I was still able to have kids.
