Hard Khrome Exhaust 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Just wanted to show some pics of my latest (and greatest!!) Ebay purchase.

Picked up some Hard Khrome 3" Dual Sideburners for less than $190, shipped!!! The seller had them listed as Samsons, which I didn't think was correct judging by the shape of the head pipe for the rear cylinder.
After checking several websites and catalogs, the best I could figure was that they were either HKs or Cobras. So bidding on them was a "leap of faith". The seller said they came off of an '03 Road* so I wasn't too worried about them fitting. Once I got them and saw what they were I was able to identify them by the mounting bracket, because there's not any markings on the pipes anywhere.

So here are the pics;

This is the pic that was posted on Ebay;

The mounting bracket;

What they look like on the bike;

What I like about these (besides the looks) is that they are low enough that I was able to flip the passenger floorboard mounts, so they are about 2" lower and about 1"-2" farther forward. Oh yeah; and the sound is awesome!!! Now if it'd just stop raining so I could ride!!!

Sorry for the long post, but just had to show off the new pipes.....

In The Wind,
Aaron

Aron, watch the backs of your legs when they are down for a passenger, they may get you !!! I had mine that way for a very short period of time, and the wife didnt like them down that far anyway!!

Piprs look great, I flipped my passenger floor boards, then put them back. They hit the back of my legs when down while manuevering the bike. Gl.

They do..but that is exactly what happens with the HD Electroglide I had

I was constantly kicking them back up when she left them down

It is part of makin the Long legged wife happy..

Better to get the back of yer leg banged than the back of yer head...

just don't walk yer bike with long strokes or better yet flip em up...

you dont walk yer bike with the passenger floorboards down

Thanks for the tips about the floorboards. I had forgotten, but that's what happened when I had the Kury Isopegs with the adjustable mounts. But like Pop said; ya gotta keep the wife comfortable.

Aaron...very sweet my friend. I love the look and sound of mine. Although I have been checking out duals lately. Mine may be for sale at a later date. I took my baffles out one time but put them back in the same day.
