I have the same pipes on my 2000 R*. I really like the sound and the large diameter of the pipes. I too reversed the passenger boards to accomodate the little lady, who is tall for a lady at 5'10". Reversiing the boards was a no-brainer to keep her happy. The only down side of these pipes that I have found so far is that they hang so low that lowering the bike becomes a bit of a problem. I'm trying to find the sweet spot where the lowered bike is still rideable without dragging the right side all the time. I guess it's a double-edged sword, the pipes allow the lady to stretch her legs but don't allow me to lower it the way I want. Keeping her happy probably trumps the look....until she gets her own!!!

I have the same pipes & love them. They sound awesome. I have Kury passenger boards & wife hasn't complained about them yet, although she may after reading this thread. Thanks guys.
