Saddlebag quick snaps retrofit? 9 Months, 1 Week ago
Anyone know how I can get the quick release buckles on my 2002 Silverado saddlebags? I'm really getting tired of working the buckles and a friend of mine has the plastic quick clips (hidden under the buckes) came standard on his 06 VStar. Is this something that I can get retrofitted somewhere? (btw - I searched the forum archives and didn't see where this has already been discussed)

Don't know what all would be involved in changing/adding straps, but the couplers are called "Parachute Buckles," and I know you can get them at Joann Fabrics or maybe another fabric store. Just bought a couple to modify my seat pad mounting strap.
